This SWS feature provides an up-to-date summary of new features, new or edited content, and information useful to SWS users.

The website is undergoing substantial revision and upgrading. The scope and purpose of SWS has been expanded to include more content for beginning teachers, substitutes, teachers new to Florida, mentor teachers, and aspiring educators.
  • On-line courses: SWS now includes online courses for Professional Learning. After registration on the site, go to the Learning Library to review and select courses.
  • A new menu and organization has been added to assist with finding what you need. From the home page, you can navigate to all sections of the website. From the Learning Library section, you have access to courses, tools, resources, and collegial assistance.
  • The original SWS content has been converted to a tutorial, and is being updated to reflect current information and conditions. After registration on the site, go to the Learning Library to explore the tutorial.
  • Substitute teacher information has been moved to a dedicated section of the website.
  • A free and easy registration process has been added to help align content upgrades with user needs and interests.
  • Tools Menu: New tools are being added to help new teachers focus their professional learning. After registration on the site, go to "Tools" to review what is available to help with lesson planning and planning your professional learning.
